Maintenance of lamps and electrical appliances

1. It is found that individual lamps and lanterns light source appliances are not bright during normal use, such as sodium lamps: check ballasts, triggers, bulbs, and capacitors. Such as LED lamps: check LED chips, LED drive power. Lower the high pole light (be careful to raise it first when lowering, so that the steel cable will be stretched straight and then descend). Turn off the MCB, open and remove the damaged lamps for maintenance.

2. In normal use, it is found that the light source of the entire high pole lamp is not bright. Turn on the high pole lamp and check whether the air switch is broken. If it breaks, there may be a short circuit; set the timer to the on position to make the high pole lamp turn on Start, check and record which light is not on; turn off the timer, unplug the high pole light wiring plug (need to record the fire, zero, and ground wire).

3. Check whether the cable is severely damaged by exposure to the sun. If there is a problem, replace the cable. When the cable enters the junction box, be sure to plug the connection port with a waterproof plug. If there is no plug, use explosion-proof cement or glass glue instead of plugging.

Check related equipment

1. Check all fixing bolts for looseness, firmness, safety and reliability, and whether positioning pins and automatic hooks are flexible and reliable. If they are severely corroded, replace them.

2. In the process of retraction and unwinding of the wire rope, on the other hand, check the appearance of the wire rope. On the other hand, pay attention to whether the wire rope is overlapped, twisted, rusted, stranded, and severely stressed. Check whether the sliding parts are flexible and reliable.

3. The AC contactor, thermal relay, travel switch, command controller and other control electrical appliances in the control circuit of the high pole lamp should be carefully checked before operation. Electrical components found to be defective should be replaced as soon as possible, and operation with diseases is strictly prohibited.

4. The transmission mechanism such as the motor and gear box fixed at the bottom of the light pole should be closed and covered as much as possible to prevent the coil from being damp and damage the insulation. Check whether the oil in the gear box is sufficient and whether the oil is black or has impurities. The movable motor drive mechanism should be placed in a dry place. The grounding resistance of the high pole light pole is measured once a year, and the resistance is less than or equal to 4Ω (the pole light grounding resistance is less than or equal to 10Ω).

Also need to pay attention to:

1. When the high pole lamp is lowered, the wiring plug must follow the steel cable upwards, and be sure to fix it on the steel cable with tape to prevent it from swinging at high altitude;

2. Pay attention to adjusting the angle of the high pole lamp. If the angle is too low, water will easily enter and the probability of damage will increase;

3. After maintenance, pay attention to whether the test light is normal, and the high pole light can be raised only after it is normal;

4. After maintenance, pay attention to cleaning up the site, and no tools or equipment should be left on the light stand to prevent injury.
